賽後Durant認為自己在執行最後一擊時被犯規裁判卻沒有響哨，NBA官方在27日公布該場比賽裁判報告，結果證實比賽中有2次誤判都不利於勇士，且Durant真的被犯規了。
第一次誤判是發生在第四節剩下1分43秒時，LeBron James灌籃得手幫助騎士取得105比103領先，但James在灌籃後刻意懸吊在籃框上過久，應被吹判一次技術犯規但裁判並未響哨。
再來便是KD執行最後一擊時騎士的防守，裁判報告中表示騎士防守球員Richard Jefferson在比賽剩下3.1秒時和Durant的雙腳有所接觸，造成他的平?受到影響已構成犯規，但裁判也並未對此做出判決。
騎士總教練Tyronn Lue在27日賽前接受訪問時表示：「很多比賽中的犯規都沒有吹判，因為雙方球員打法的關係，這對官方來說是場很難吹判的比賽。」
「但我認為比賽不應該是用罰球的方式來定勝負，就我的角度而言那次防守並沒有很嚴重的肢體碰觸，我覺得沒有犯規，那如果聯盟要在事後才說他們最後2分鐘有誤判，那是他們的事。」Lue表示。
NBA自2015年3月3日起，若有比賽勝負在5分差之內，便會公布該場比賽最後2分鐘的裁判報告，以檢視是否有誤判的情形發生。
